My name is Jason and following a career in the Military and Criminal Investigations, I am working towards full membership of the IMDT.
I have attended IMDT courses in Canine Body Language, Puppy Development, Canine Aggression and Rehabilitation and How Dog's Learn
I also hold a certificate in Dog First Aid
I have owned and trained my own dogs for most of my life with my current companion being a Hungarian Viszla named Ruby
I like to concentrate on activities that enhance the bond between dog and owner and most of all, have fun.
I will only promote training and activities which are based around positive methods and will not train any aversive methods or use unsuitable equipment, such as shock collars, prong collars or check chains.
Fun Facts About Your Dog:
A dog's sense of smell is around 40x better than humans
Your dog could be left or right pawed. You can find out by offering your dog their favourite toy and see which paw they use to interact
Dogs have 18 muscles to control their ears, enabling them to move them around. A lot of their natural body language is through their ears
Studies show dogs have around the same intelligence as a two year old child, with some being able to understand up to 200 words

Upcoming Workshops
A series of workshops, each one is around 1 hour long and will run through the basics of the lesson title. It will set you on the path of improvement. With consistent practice and follow on lessons you and your dog will have fun working together and your dog will be happy working with a purpose.
Each individual workshop is £20 per dog and handler. Book all three, drop me a message and you will receive a discounted price of £50

Socialisation Adventure Walk
We all know how important puppy socialisation can be. But, it is not all about meeting a playing with as many different dogs and people as possible.
It is equally, if not more important to ensure your new puppy has access to new sights, sounds, textures and environments and any interactions are controlled.
This 4xPaw adventure walk will include a walk around East Carlton Park for around 40-45 minutes, interacting with a new environment, woods, gravel, grass, water, wooden bridges etc.
At the end of the walk, we will stop at the café for coffee and cake which is included in the price. We will have that time as a Q&A session on anything that came up in the walk or with any other questions you may have with your new puppy.
